HPHS '59
60 TH Reunion
Sept. 13-14, 2019

Up in the mornin' and out to school
The teacher is teachin' the Golden Rule
American history and practical math
You studyin' hard and hopin' to pass

                        —Chuck Berry, 1957

Back then who could have imagined our 60th reunion? And who can forget the memories created by our joyous 50th? What enthusiasm, what energy we created! As in our four other reunions, we made closer and newer friends. We kept up our contacts during each new decade.

Already, nearly 100 classmates have said they’ll be there in 2019. We can catch up on news and share the journeys we’ve taken.

We want every classmate to attend, or at least be notified. We’re using email and the website to communicate. With that in mind, we have an effort underway to get valid email addresses for all those who are “missing” and for all those whose emails have bounced.

A large reunion committee is at work. Volunteers are welcome.

In the meantime, every classmate can help:

1. Update your profile on this site. What’s new in your life?

2. Upload more photos.

3. Look at the list of missing classmates to see if you know of their whereabouts.

4. Urge your friends to join you in Highland Park in 2019.

It’s been a long time since 1959. Why, sometimes, does it feel like yesterday? Our future was a mystery. We went off to work, to college, to the military, to marriage, to other countries. Highland Park got us started. Once again, let’s share our common bond.
