It is so shocking to read of the death of someone whose memory I have is that of a fresh-faced, redheaded bouncy teenager...and that's how I remember Jeanne. We were kids together at Bannockburn School but she was always much prettier and, I thought, much more clever than I. I am deeply saddened to learn of her death as such a young woman.

I am Samantha, Jeanne's daughter.  I found this page via a web search.  It is heartwarming to read the words of Laura Bollenhacher Hubbard.  I was only 4 when my mother died, so I don't have many memories of her.  It is wonderful to read what she was like as a teenager.  I can report that Jeanne's three children are all doing well and carry her spirit on.  She has six grandchildren and one who inherited Jeanne's signature red hair!  Blessings to each of you.

I did not know your mother until we were in high school. I did not know her well but she was well liked by everyone she met.

If you would like to knnow more about her I suggest you get in contact with her friends from elementary school. If you need help with this let me know.
