Dick Roach



Richard F. Roach. Jr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21st at the age of 75. 

He leaves behind his loving wife Sally of 10 years; his sons Steven Roach of San Diego, CA, and Pete Roach, daughter-in-law Ashley, and two grandchildren Cassidy and Owen of Edwards, CO; his sister Kay Zaback, brother in law Chuck Zaback and four nephews of Corvallis, OR.

Born and raised in Highwood, Illinois, the son of Richard F. Roach Sr. and Louise (Korb) Roach, he was a long time resident of Bellevue, Washington. After serving his country in the United States Air Force for four years, he attended WSU and received his BA in Restaurant & Hotel Management in 1967. He was a CPA and worked in the hospitality industry until his retirement in 2003.

He was a member of Glendale Country Club for 20+ years and passionate about the game of golf where he proudly achieved a hole-in-one, not once, but three times. Dick was also a member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church. 

Memorial services to be held on Friday, April 28th, 2pm at Glendale Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Tee Seattle (www.thefirstteeseattle.org)

I do remember our conversations throughout the years. This World is not a better place since you have left us.
