  • September 11, 2009 Friday Reunion
    Friday Night Kick-Off at Bridie McKenna’s Irish Pub 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    This is a new first-class establishment with a great atmosphere. Our group will have exclusive access to the entire restaurant, including a beautiful patio area. Great food, and an open bar will be available from 6:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.!!! Valet parking will be offered at no charge, and a full staff will serve us all evening.   • September 12, 2009 Tour of Highland Park High School 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tour starts promptly at 10:00 so please be ON-TIME. Meet at the main entrance on Vine Avenue.
  • September 12, 2009 Grammar School Brunches 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Details with badge) for those who signed up. These will be held at the homes of classmates. This is included in the registration fee.
  • September 12, 2009 Saturday Reunion "Dinner" at Renaissance Hotel Northbrook  (933 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, IL - just south of Dundee Road) - 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
    Music from the ‘50s, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be followed by a sit down dinner with plenty of opportunities to mingle and reminisce. We hope to create a warm, casual, and inclusive atmosphere. 
  • September 13, 2009 Sunday Brunch Host Barry Golden (8 Lakewood Drive, Bannockburn) 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Throughout the weekend various favors, memorabilia, and “take home” momentos and recordings of the events will be yours to remember our reunion.

ACCOMMODATIONS

For those of you coming from afar, we have made special arrangements to make your stay here as reasonable as possible. The details are listed under our tab "Accommodations".

DRESS CODE

All events are casual with Saturday Night being casual with jackets optional.

NAME TAGS

We are planning to have PHOTO name tags for each classmate who is attending, using the yearbook photos. SEND YOUR REGISRATION FEE TODAY (or pay electronically - see bottom of 50 Year Reunion tab) if you have not done so - we need time to create the name tags. If we do not have a yearbook picture of you, email us and we will try to substitute.

SPECIAL SITUATIONS

We want to have as many of you as possible attend the reunion. If you require financial assistance or know someone who does, please contact John Scornavacco directly. Every attempt will be made to assist you or that person or persons and all such requests will be handled with the strictest confidentiality. The Reunion Committee has authorized that some of the funds left from the 40th Reunion be made available for such purposes
